ok i need to make this kinda quick, wheel joint broke (my fault) front axle locked up, spider gears-gone, yokes-twisted, driveshaft-twisted off t case. I know fun right, anyway, i need to get a front 44 4.09 gears, i need it soon, like this week, anything specific i need to look for in the junkyards, or anybody wanna mail a ring, carrier ect? fields are nice and muddy and i wanna drive the old girl again thanks

any late 70's W200 should do it, most had 4.10 gearing
If ya feel like driving to Michigan, I have a variety of axles ranging from parts to completely rebuilt. I have no good way to ship heavy stuff though.

There was/is one at Rocki Top Auto Salvage WI(Glen-Flora) 1-715-322-5774 complete less lockouts 4.09 ratio Stock number 1020 for $150. Good luck, Wayne

Look for Dodge W200 trucks from 1975 to 1979. Those are the only years that used the odd full time 4WD front axles.
