M880 Pintle Question

Does anyone know of the pinlte hook on the M880 is the same or similar to the ones on the CUCVs?

They will take the same lunettes, but it seems like they weren't quite so meaty.

The CUCV pintle has a fillet radius between the shank diameter and flange, making it stronger than the M880 version which has a sharp(er) corner.
While the M880 one will fit the CUCV's, a spacer with the radius in it is required to use the CUCV one on the M880
