My county used it as belly dump hauler. Going to put it back to work doing the same job.

Cummins Big Cam 400
Allison 4500
Rear suspension is converted from leaf springs to a Neway Airbag setup.


Just did a bunch of work.

Reman injection pump from Area Diesel Service. New Drive tires, new trailer air hoses, custom pintle trailer gladhands brackets, led work light upgrade, Grote 4 in 1 tail lights.

I can get some more pictures of it. I didn’t do the conversion. My county did it. The whole rear end setup is from some older truck. They have added steel plates to widen the frame rails out so it fits good. Everything is bolted down. I can get some better pictures. But you can kinda see what I’m talking about.

The original taillight brackets were bent/ missing. Moving the taillights inboard will save the wiring harness from getting pounded by rocks. Just looks cleaner. Added glandhands with valves on the back to keep everything clean. Upgraded to Grote 55162 taillights. Works great.

What's the data plate on the differentials? I know the old M915 were 4.44 so I'm curious to know what else is out there that deep. It looks like a quality job.

The tag on the door says 4.44. The rear end housings are different for the rear suspension but the differentials I believe are the stock 4.44 bolted into the “new” housings. I believe this a Neway AD series style airbag setup with steel plates to widen out the frame to the correct width. I wish they would have done something a little different where the fifth wheel bolts to the frame and the conversion brackets and hangers kinda get in the way of where the the fifth wheel plate is supposed to bolt down. Irregardless it looks like it fits fairly well and there is no sign of any bolts ever getting loose. Truck rides pretty good for the short wheelbase but you can tell the front end is sprung pretty stout.
