Hi all-I'm new here and new to military vehicles (second childhood can get expensive). I recently bought a M923a2 which is missing an oil pressure gauge. I've manually tested pressure at engine and it is spec but I want to install a new meter. I have the meter but the posts have no markings so I would appreciate advice on which post is for the battery and which goes to the sensor. Also, the sensor reads about 5 ohms with the engine off and open when engine running. I sure would appreciate help with my oil pressure question and thanks a lot for your help.

One rubber socket is ribbed, one is not.IIRC, the one with the lines on the boot, is the sensor terminal.Simply look at the other gauges and confirm this. All the gauges get power from a "spider" wire(one source).
