M998 RPM (Idle & Red Line)

Hey guys,

What rpm should a m998 6.5 non turbo 3 speed idle at and what rpm is red line on that truck too thanks.

redline is 3600 rpms, though I've also seen it said that is the max rpms under load, and under no load it could do 4200 rpms, but what's the point of that?

Idle is around 550 rpms give or take 25

I don't know what the GEP engines are supposed to idle at, it might be 700 like you say.

6.5 and 3 speed makes me think it's likely a detuned 6.5, and the specs should most likely match the 6.2. I say most likely, but I am just guessing.
