Main shaft reassembly

Getting the last of my parts today and will be building up and installing the main shaft.

When finished I'm planning on servicing the tranny from the top, pouring the lube over the entire shaft as installed.
For the output bearing I plan on just soaking it in the lube prior to installation.

Will this suffice as assembly lube or is more needed?

No need to soak bearings, that just attracts dirt during assembly. Just a few drops to keep things wet until you fill it is all that is necessary.
