When starting the Deuce should you hit the manifold heater or just leave it alone .
I live in san Diego aprox 70 degs average all year around. My truck takes about 3 hits on the starter button aprox 15 to 20 seconds a hit before she starts. Does this sound normal or is she taking to long to start. would the manifold heater help this?
Thanks Jerry

I never need any kind of assistance until it gets down around 40 degrees or so. At 70 it should start right up in about one second or so.. First thing I would do is check/replace all three fuel filters, bleed the air in the system and make sure the in tank pump is working you may also want to check your fuels quality... Beyond that maybe the IP or other issue...

All this is covered in the -10 TM. Please take time to read the basic operators manual(-10).
