Marine Deuce Picture

This is our 1952 Studebaker M35 after painting it Marine Corps green.
I know, I know, the markings are nothing like the originals.
Rod, a former Marine, says "I don't care! I want everybody to know it's a MARINE truck".

Tell Rod, that above the Marine EGA. put in 4 inch letters MARINES
Below the EGA, put in 2 inch letters DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY
Below that "THE MENS DEPARTMENT"
One of the few, Frank USMC RET.

This is what happens when you give a Marine a few beers, a couple of crayons, & a round-nosed scissors, and say "Stencils? Make your own damn stencils!"

Exactly what Marine Corp green is that?? Maybe 24052 or 34052? Note the correct placement of flags on the truck. Looks good. Jarhead truck!

That's 34052 paint from Aervoe. Went on easily without thinning. Used a cheap HVLP sprayer from Harbor Freight.
