Maybe an old question but I'm a new member and new m35a3 owner

Thanks guys just bought an a3 bobbed and want to add lights, radio, ect... and I think I'm I need to hookup 24 to12 volt converter to a breaker box.does this sound right, if so any good or beter converters known by anyone out there.thanks for any help
