Need help in finding a replacement voltage regulator for my Deutz Diesel motor. The diesel is a KHD model F1L208F service code 7850866. The diesel is installed in a military compressor MC2A with the military part number 4191201. The physical part is a Ducati Energie regulator with the part number stamped in the housing 343520. There is a push on connector with 6 male flat pin connectors labeled G G R B L C. The G G R lead to the alternator. The B connects to the + battery. The L is open. The C leads to a power on switch.

Would like to replace this with a standard automotive type regulator if possible. However, I do not know how the connections lead to the alternator except the R appears to be the output to the battery. Need to know which to the two G’s is the Field and which is the Stator.

The TO 34Y1-87-61 manual does not provide details for alternator connections. Is there any detail info about the alternator or is there any way in testing the leads to determine connectivity?
