Has anyone tried to use any kind of media to blast the CARC off their aluminum body? I know the local companies around here have several kinds of less abrasive medias like soda or walnut. I just wondered what everyones experience was.

Just remember CARC can very hazardous in dust form. Take appropriate precautions. (and "just do it outside" isn't "appropriate precautions")

I was thinking of trying the wet sandblasting technique over a tarp in the yard in a place in the yard where I have no plans to ever try to grow anything.

Found this:

Dry CARC poses no known health threat unless disturbed by sanding, grinding, extreme heat, or other conditions that could produce CARC dust, fumes, or vapors. Welding or cutting CARC painted surfaces results in the airborne release of HDI, carbon monoxide, and other toxic materials.
