Anyone know where I can purchase a start-stop-run switch for a mep 004? Or maybe a replacement?

Are you sure its bad? Tested IAW the TM? This switch is as dependable at the sun coming up in the morning.

Unit would not crank. Lowered control panel. Terminal is separated from switch, rivet broken. Prior to finding this I was having trouble getting the gen to produce power unless switch was held up. Thanks for your reply, Mike

Looked in the great auction site and had no luck. Put the NSN in your search engine and you will find some firms that claim to stock it. You have to check.
When looking for parts, do not limit yourself to "MEP-004A". The MEP-005A is about 90% the same parts, so include MEP-005A in your search. Also, things in the control panel are the same for almost every part, in the MEP-006A also. Maybe you can also put a parts request in the SS forum, someone with a parts gen set.
You may need to spend some time in the -24P, when looking for parts.
