MEP005 head on a MEP815

Does anyone know if the generator head from a MEP005 will fit on a MEP815 ( 400 Hz).
I am looking to go from the 6 cyl white engine to the 4 cyl john deere engine. I have both a MEP005 and a MEP815.

So will the generator head fit?

You may have to take some measurements.

You could always just try it and fine out Thats usually how I figure these types of things out or take some string and wrap it around the head marking the bolts then do the same thing around the other one see if the marks line up.

There are some standards for attaching heads, so it may be possible. Certainly worth looking into.

Well if I can't get the MEP005 running I might do this. It will probably turn out to be a nightmare.
