MEP006A Stanadyne injector pump stuck

Hello, I have a 1995 MEP006A with a John Deere engine. I need to rebuild the fuel injection pump. I have try everything I can think off to remove that pump, I even built a tool with a 2 ton hydraulic bottle jack, and applied at least two tons of pressure on it, and it doesn't move. Any ideas??

+1 on heat. It is your friend here, but a gear puller is probably the tool that you want.

Did you get the pump timed to the engine already? It really helps reinstallation. Here's a video of a similar Stanadyne removal from a JD engine;

PM if you need a rebuilder. I know a good one in SC.

I heated it up till it was red hot, applied the air hammer and it came off. Thank you very much for the help

Never saw a MEP-006A with a JD engine in it. Not army standard. Did they keep the original Main Gen?

Didn't they start making the 80x series around 1993?

Any chance the 1995 MEP006A is actually an 806A? That could explain a JD engine.

This is not, according to SFUS, an MEP-806A. Its an MEP-006A. Different animals. I think maybe SFUS wrote the wrong model number, or someone put a JD engine in a MEP-006A
