Anyone know where I can purchase MILSPEC cable? I want a 2 conductor (16 ga) stranded cable that’s black rubber shielded. I need about 100’. TIA

There's white insulated copper pairs designed to be used inside walls. It's typically about $0.30/ft @ 16ga.

There's black insulated copper pairs rated for direct burial and used for things like outside lighting. Cost is something like $0.60 per foot.

I haven't seen anything military specific other than their telecom cable.

There’s M13486/1-7 type. It’s a rubberized shielded 16 ga twisted wire found in most wiring harnesses. I’m looking for a 2 conductor cabled pair.

I have found sources but YIKES; they are asking a premium. I’m only making a few hand held spot light extension cables. I have the Amphenol type plugs and socket ends located and on the way.

I will look at Home Depot when I go there next time.

I've got several 18' sections of cable, with amphenol 14-5 connectors on one end, and 3/8 ring connectors on the other. It's 4 conductor at the distal end, but you could combine the conductors to make it two, or just dead end the two you don't need.

It's milspec with armor between the insulation and the conductors. White...
