Coming home from a job today saw this in a local busines parking lot right up the street from my house. Had apparently been forced into a guardrail about 300 yds. up the street and they were removing the protective plates that cover the CTIS fittings on both passenger side wheels as they were severly trashed and partially ripped off.

Probably not, the soldiers like the ASVs a lot from what I hear. Much better for the role they play than the hummvee.

I've been on that ASV. I'm in the VT Guard as an MP and we trained with the NH Guard at Fort Drum this summer when we got our new ASV's. We drew them from Drum and had them shipped back to our home stations. I know their First Sergeant, someone's in for an interesting conversation when they get back to the armory...
