I went and looked at a 5 ton wrecker on Friday. I thought it was HUGE! Now I see pics that make it look like my vw golf. Wow.

Those dumps are huge!! Defiantly the biggest toy in the sandbox. Any idea on how much fuel they burn?

2 Caterpillar 775D trucks,65 ton cap,3412 Cat,1100 hp
773B Caterpillar,50 ton cap,3412 Cat,900 hp
769C Caterpillar,40 ton cap,converted to a water truck used to wet haul roads and stockpiles,also a fuel truck,3408 Cat 600hp

all average between 50 to 75 gallons in a 8 to 11 hr day.
