A few things that I need answers for regarding my M185A3:

1. Has anybody built one of the Canadian cab racks as shown in the TM's for the M35? If so, was it worth the cost of materials and labor and did it fit without resorting to 'adjustments' with the sledgehammer?

2. What would cause my air shift light to be illuminated in both the on and off positions?

3. Anybody know a source for the canvas shifter and transfer case lever covers?

4. What's most likely to be the culprit for faulty fuel level readings, the float or the gauge?

5. How long should the air pressure hold before it bleeds down when the engine is off and where is the usual location for the leak(s). I'm hearing leaks at my gladhands, so I know sure that the seals need replacing there for sure.

Thanks for sharing the knowledge...

#2 would be the piston sticking or the air not releasing from the line.

#3 Jatonka here on SS sells them.

#4 I'd start with making sure you have good grounds. Then I'd look into testing the resistance output of the sending unit.

#5 you should have valves to turn off the gladhands. Try that first.
