Moving M925 Shifter for Leg Room ever tried??

I have driven my M925 enough to figure out at 6' 4" the transmission shifter column likes to bite me right on the outside of my shin bone which makes for a rough ride.

Question has anyone ever moved the entire shifter column 2 inches to the right to make things more driver friendly??

Its just a cable, put it where you want it.

There are some wires as well but they can be extended if necessary. (at least there are wires in the M923)

Thanks for the info, I thought that from the TMs that there may be room to scoot that shin knocker out of the way or get a baseball catchers leg guards off Ebay!!!!

You can always glue some sleeping bag mat material on it. Also known as ethefoam. Same material as the insulation on a hardtop.
