Hey guys I've been wanted to do this for some time so here it go's.http://www.govliquidation.com/auction/view?auctionId=8690854

It's been a few months since I won it back in December had to wait for the EUC paper work to clear.. well it cleared a week ago so I went to go pick it up today. loaded up the goose neck and went on down to
Nellis AFB it's only a few miles from where I live so no biggey .. every thing went smooth loading it and driving it back home.

This thing is going to need a lot of work there is a list of things todo a mile long but it's all replacing things but shouldn't be a problem... I'll be posting my progress on this nice truck and I'm not doing any mods on it what so ever NO ( lifts kits, no mud tires, ect, ect) I like to keep my steel soldiers original. Another one comes home to the family.

nice to see a truck stay as it should , my 1009 had a 4 inch lift and mudders on it , lucky the PO's didn't mess with anything else , all back to stock now , only things still to do are driver's side comms tray and a paint job , south west camo , have fun with your new toy ,

Thank you for being a preservationist. The only things I have done to mine are for safety and comfort. Nothing permanent other than two holes drilled in the firewall for air conditioning. Other than the condenser, receiver-dryer and hoses, stock under the hood too.

I moved the air compressor in the back of the SECM box to free up floor space, it now rides on top of the generator.

Check your trans case. We bought a real nice rust free 1008 from IP and found a bent drive shaft like most. We replaced the shaft and the truck drives great. But we had a trans fluid leak when it sat over night. Got it up on the lift and found the trans case cracked like an egg all the way around the center of the case. It will come out this week and go to our trans guy for a new case.
