The Military Vehicle Collectors of Colorado (MVCC) displayed a few vehicles in support of Heroes vs Heroes Basketball Games which was an event sponsored by the Freedom Hunters who provide outdoor adventures/activities to our wounded Warriors. The other Heroes were the special need high school students from the southern Denver area. Chaparral High School in Parker, CO provided the gym for a basketball competition between our wounded military members and the special need students from the local area. The Chaparral team is in a few of the pictures. Unfortunately, there are no pictures of the games or our military Heroes. We really messed up there.

2012 event. MVCC supports this event again. Mostly big iron this year. Typical Colorado weather. Near 70 degrees in March normally the month with the highest snow totals. A few pictures show what is up in the mountains though. For those wondering why the M220 is decked out in solid white, that truck recently was purchased surplus from Yuma proving grounds just as displayed here. More pics to follow.

Thanks for posting the photos 70Deuce! The Club had a pretty good showing for the first event of the season. Mrs Oldfart went and got pizzas for lunch, and we got to see Brendan's NEW A4 for the first time. It's always a good time when you cab sit around in the sun with your Buddies and yak about MV's. ;-)

My wife was planing on attending the event but the M1010 sprung a leak (fuel) that she felt was unsafe. That mecanical fuel pump is a PITA to replace I did a search here on how to do it and everyone who has done it is right (its not for the light hearted). it was leaking around the crimp seal on the pump and about a drop every 1/2 second.

It will be at the St. Pat's day event (god willing). Just one more thing.................You'll see it at the event.

Something to look forward to.
