The Military Vehicle Collectors of Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Pinzgauer Club supported a local tavern's food drive on a real nasty day quickly turning into a terrible day. A few trucks from each club drove over to GI Jodi's tavern, a real strong supporter of the military community in the southwest Denver area. The bad weather kept the vehicle and contributor count down but there were a few die hard people out today when our 4th snowstorm of the season was just stating up. just gray and overcast getting there. Left early in heavy snow. No heater in the M818 and I was lucky to have what there was of a peephole looking through the windshield. Wipers actually did a decent job and thank God for Goodyear road radials on the truck. Would not have been fun at all on the Interstate in icy and slushy roads with NDTs. Man does a M818 put up a geyser of spray without a trailer over the duals. Here a a link to last year's event which was in April. Last year dive was for toys. Way different weather.
