MVPA Convention & Northwest Mogfest

As many of the SS members may know, the MVPA is holding a convention in Portland, OR on August 14-16. This is the same time that the annual Northwest Mogfest is being held.

The organizers of Northwest Mogfest would like to invite any interested SS members to join them in a convoy to the MVPA convention. Most of the participants of NWMF usually drive European military vehicles, however all are welcome to join. This will be a one day ride since NWMF is only 1.5 hours from Portland, located in Sheridan.

We are hoping to create a, "European Invasion" of the MVPA convention. On friendly terms of course.

Interested members should contact me directly for more info. Northwest Mogfest is in its 7th year and usually draws about 300 people and 100 vehicles of European descent. You will find Unimogs, Pinzgauers, Haflingers, Volvos, Volkswagens, Gaz, Ural, and even M.A.N. trucks. Occasionally, there will be a US military vehicle.

NWMF is just about a month away!!!

Anyone with a military vehicle is welcome to join our event. This is a family event which is held at the Waldersee Farm in Sheridan, Oregon. There are plenty of camping spots, porta potties, showers, an obstacle course, and food supplied by the local Boy Scout Troop.

If anyone is interested in joining our convoy from Sheridan to the MVPA convention, please send me a pm.
