I finially got around to pulling my transmission last weekend. Despite 103 degree heat I got most of it done in the early hours. Sure enough the disc is very worn along with the pressure plate. Heavy wear on the pressure plate surface. I did find one bolt missing from the driveline and the other three finger loose!! I figure 20 or so miles and it would have come loose causing who knows what for damage. I have ordered all the part s from saturn Surplus as they were the cheapest. I hope to get it together real soon. Now that the brakes are done and soon the clutch, I want to drive it!! I have been terribly busy, not posting much but still reading when I can. I hope everybody is having a great summer!!<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_big.gif" alt="Big Smile">

Anybody got any good suggestions for removing the pilot bushing? I have tried the grease trick which has never worked for me. I have a slick pilot bushing slide hammer but the arms are to short... Made for small cars/motors...

Just a quick note on saturn surplus. Apparently there are two types of clutches. One has a three finger pressure plate and one has four fingers. I needed the four finger set up. I ordered and received the three finger PP. It looks like I am the one who made the mistake. Saturn surplus is paying all the shipping charges to exchange my parts. I told them it looked like it was my mistake and they are still paying the shipping. I think thats pretty cool. Keep them in mind when you need parts for your M35's. Thats close to 80.00 bucks in shipping charges. Awesome!!
