Two questions:
one: According to a guy named Bob Kettler, who wrote some tech tips for Portrayal Press,
the two bolts that attach the thermostat housing to the engine are supposed to be different lengths or there is a possibility of damage to the head gasket in the vicinity of #1 cylinder.
The Passenger side bolt is supposed to be shorter according to him. Problem is, that I didn't find a short bolt when I dissassembled it. They were both 1 7/8 inch bolts.

two: According to the TM, the driver side top bolt that secures the water pump to the engine is supposed to be 1 3/8 inch long, but the bolts that I got off of there when I removed it were 1 7/8 inch long.

Does anyone know of these apparently insignificant discrepancies. Hopefully I am worrying for nothing, but the fact that Bob made a point of bringing it up, is a bit disconcerting.
