Need bolt size

So I’m looking to make a piece to close out my right fender. I believe the piece that originally was there is an armored piece. I tried a bunch of bolts I had laying around but nothing matched up. I also looked in some of the manuals but couldn’t find it.

I may be way off but I believe your answer is in TM-9-2320-387-24P, section 0190 04, which states SCREW,CAP,HEXAGON H 3/8-16 X 1.25.

You are spot on, I was also looking in the 24P but didn't find it. Good catch. The bracket you have installed is part# 6, the bolts are part #4.
