Looking for a cost Est to transport an M989A1 (11k lbs) from Ft Hood, TX-to Beavercreek OH?

No real estimate here, but I recently had an all terrain forklift (24K but roughly the same footprint) moved 300 miles for 2K. The high was 2900....and I was able to drive it on to the lowboy. I inquired as to cost of shipping some trucks to help me in my bidding cost and was told it could run from a low of 7 to a high of 20 dollars per mile.....thus ending my bidding. By the way, I was told I was given a "good" rate because I had no time limit for delivery and they could wait till they had a back haul.

Suggest you retain a transportation broker to find you a hotshot that will haul it for around $2.50/mile.
