The lady at Fort Sill sounded doubtful about me being able to drive it out the gate but I've seen and heard of alot of trucks that just needed minor TLC like brake bleeding, a little air pressure to break the WCs loose, new batts, etc...

I live about 500 miles away, so if someone local with more deuce mechanical smarts than me could help me get it started on base (if at all possible), I would be extremely grateful. I would be willing to pay you in alcohol and/or cash for your time, of course.

I've got Alford's wrecker service lined up and an open air storage in town picked out and aware of the situation if need be, but I would really rather not spend $180 for the tow and a month of storage if it just needs something really minor.

I've scheduled the pickup for next Tuesday at 8AM, but I can probably reschedule if need be for anytime Monday through Thursday.

Thanks,

-Andy
