Never Noticed..

86 M1031, runs great, J-Code 22K miles.. However, no Data Plate on the valve cover?? Odd or normal practice?

in my experience ive seen one or two data plates actually on the valve cover when engines were overhauled. they now put them on the door post under the vehicle data plate. i took a picture, its from another post
