New Alternators for sale

Since I am new to this genre I have 3 quick questions.

On sale is 24 volt generators here:

http://cgi.govliquidation.com/auction/view?id=587039

Since this is not a direct replacement for the M35A2, can it be modified to work?

Would it be wise to pick one up for later since these are going so cheap?

This could all be moot as I think I remember reading that the Duece uses a 60 amp, correct?

Thanks for any help as this sale ends very soon.

Any generator can be made to work. the question is how much time, energy, effort [complaining] and headache :banghead: do you want to spend modifying something?

I would suggest getting at least a take off from one of the duece parts suppliers. TNJ, Saturn Surplus, White Owl in NC, or Memphis Equipment to name a few.

Or, getting an actual duece generator from GL.

There's probably enough in this lot to get at least one good one made up.

And yes, you want a 60A.
