I picked up a couple of auxillary lights that rivet or screw to the dash of an aircraft. The bulbs are 24 volt. The housing self grounds. I drilled the mount holes a little oversize and screwed them to the dash. I drilled a small hole behind the data plate and tapped into the existing dash lights for power. They might not be the coolest mod but they are definatly functional. Best of all the lights were free.
