New Deuce Pictures / what is this cable

Kipman and I went to GL at Wrightpatterson to preview my Deuce today, here are some pictures, and I am wondering If anyone knows what the hell this four pronged cable is that is connected to the battery? Also has anyone ever seen a gun turet hole cut into the top of a hard top?
