All,

Is anyone aware of a good (mil/truck) recycler in the Mass/New Hampshire area.

It is hard to find parts for the M135 without resorting to NOS from the normal sources.

Plus my eyes like to wander!!

Bob Stahl is in Wrentham... not too far from Lowell.
Not sure if he has 135 parts, but has more than a few "goodie" laying around. Mostly M37's, 42's, a WC or two. Some other odd shit.
Give him a call. I'm sure he can point you in the right direction.
He's a real nice guy... you'll like him.

Oh ya.
What are you looking for?
I've seen a handfull of dueces in yards around SE MA. Don't give them much attention, other than a quick going over. Not really my thing, the M135, but I may be able to help you track down something if you are in no rush.

Sure.
His # is 508. 384. 7698
He actually publishes a catalog! All 9 pages! lol. But it's all m37, wc stuff.
Like I said, I don't think he has much interest in the 135's, but give him a call... he may be able to help you out.
Good luck!

I am not looking for anything in particular, but it would be nice to peruse. I may end up with a M211 which has an iffy motor. I am thinking about scoring a cab and make a quad cab for kicks on the extra truck. the M135 will remain close to original, but the 211 would be the toy and be a clean slate drivetrain wise.

this guy is in kingston NH if you feel like heading over that way.
I noticed a CJ-10 military tow jeep on his page here:

and recall that Shirley's has one also, or something like it. I had thought at first someone made that up, but there's the real thing.

I've never seen one running, are they rare?

The M135 was used by the Canadians until relatively recently - so NOS parts aren't hard to find - or expensive - if you look north of the border.

Thanks for posting that link. Not to hijack the thread or anything but i might be going to this guy for an m1009 if i cant find anything on GL. Although the prices are a little high for what he did to them. Like remove pintle hook, paint civi red with civi hatch cover for rear bed enclosure. Any other scrap yards around or used MV dealers in New England anyone else know of? Thanks guys
