Welcome from Canada... do yourself a favor and go through the CUCV stickies. Also searching on this forum can be tricky but if you google search your topic and add steelsoldiers it helps narrow it down.

Glowplug relays, Starter relays, Vacuum issues and bears, oh my. search em. learn them. know them. then ask questions and learn from others experience. THere is a LOT of good and bad experience on this board.
