Hey everyone...my name is Donny, I'm from Florence, SC & I just recently bought myself a 1968 M35A2 Deuce & Half from a buddy of mine. I've always been a fan of military vehicles & this is my first one, God willing I'll purchase more in the future. Anyway here are a few pics & if any of you veterans have any advice or tips feel free to post them.

Donny congrats on your Deuce purchase she is a mighty fine looking truck! get it out and drive it a lot they get pretty good mileage. If you get tired of all the noise in the cab down the road send me a PM and I will tell you what I did to the cab and the floor of my Deuce to get it to the point of actually being able to have a conversation inside the truck without and intercom system!
Good luck Donny its a great looking Deuce!!

If you get up Columbia way on a Wednesday afternoon (3 to 9 pm), get off at the Alpine Road Exit (Exit 76), take a left up to the top of the hill and take another left at the light. Bout a quarter mile on the left (just before the tree line) will be an opened swinging gate. Pull in and visit a spell - we have over 25 MV's on the compound. Oldest is a 1938 German ambulance, then several WWII US vehicles, all the way up to the newest stuff (HMMWV's and the MK 48 with wrecker rear body).

I know, I know, envy is one of the seven deadly sins, but MAN, that's a nice truck...

Take it out and play with it.

Have fun.
