You can hook this alternator up to a 1800 RPM 2 cylinder diesel engine and charge up a large 24 volt battery bank in record time. At 1800 RPM the alternator puts out 570 amps in 24 volts. Take 2 12 volt Crown industrial fork lift batteries wired into a 24 volt configuration and you have an industrial battery bank which is far superior to the traditional Trojan battery off grid systems.
