I have not seen one of these before and have not read about anyone receiving one of these.
It is a form letter starting off with "You were assessed to purchase / receive surplus Department of Defense property through the DRMO or its commercial partner".
"Some of this property on the US Munitions Lits or ont he Commerce Control List usually requires a license to be exported". More unimportant text for several paragraphs basically stating that I signed the DLA form 1822 EUC and you are reminded of your responsibilities.
There is no other information other than" you are required to confirm identies of future purchasers of this property" and "it can not be exported" etc, etc, etc.
Has anyone else received one of these? I can scan and post it but it is a page and a half and I did not see the point.
Does this mean that I am not a terrorist and I will be approved or is this step two of several more to go?
Inquiring minds.....
Jim
