I've been lurking like crazy for about a week or so. This forum really seems great. I've already learned about 1000% more than I knew when I started looking around on here. My internet "favorites" list is now thoroughly dominated by various SS stickies, Wiki, Doghead mod relay, altenator/battery info, etc.
I picked up an 84 m1008 at a dealer close to St. Louis recently. It shows 80k on the odometer which by appearances, seems to be accurate. It runs and steers great with not too much body rust. Considering how well it runs, I think I got a pretty good deal. Working on switching out all the fluids, just put in some refurbished batteries and having Gen 2 alt rebuilt shortly. New belts will be coming up shortly too. Hopefully I'll enjoy this forum as much as I have the Mustang forums I also frequent. Maybe I'll see some of you guys around at some point. Special thanks to the admin for helping me out with my registration which gave me a little trouble.
