had this a while now. been working on it. bit by bit. have a new flywheel in it. new glow plugs are in the mail. got it fired up late last night. has a pretty bad noise. high pitched ticking. couldnt tell where it was coming from at all. tap the gas the ticking got faster. to think of it i would guess that would mean motor. trucks from md. 46k and really clean and no rust anywhere. pretty happy with it.

well, finally got it fired up. knocking in the top end.

If you're pushing air through the injectors you will get a knocking in the top end.

I'm sorry to say this, but don't take this as an insult... but that truck keeps reminding me of starsky and hutch every time i look it it


but it looks like a nice clean truck!
