New M1009 owner...what can you tell me about my new truck...

I just won this on Govliq. Can you guys tell me any thing about what its job was from the markings. Also it has a caution light on the top. What would that have been used for?

No clue on the markings. The light may have been installed if this vehicle was a Convoy Commanders vehicle.

Not sure about the markings. But I'd do a full complete service on her, when you get it home.

Looks to be a nice 1009. Can't read the markings from the pics. Antenna looks to be for the SINGARS set. Someone swiped your shackles and pintle, otherwise does not look to be cannibalized. Oops your door got forklifted, better check for a bent driveshaft. I would guess your truck will run with some new batteries.

Crap...i thought that was just the paint. How hard do you think it would be to pull that dent?

Once you get it you should be able to pull the inner door panel and kick it back out. Itll leave a little crinkle at the top but should hold half decently

When are you going to get it? I won 6906 from there (Ft. Knox) and am trying to do paperwork now...
I bid on the cleanest one that said "running condition unknown", and got it!
All there, all glass, no dents, perfect seats, all clevises, ect... I cant wait!
