That's good to hear that the 265/75's do not rub.
I think I'm going to order them with studs.
I can run them here in PA from Nov. 1 - April 1 and I'll have my 36" for the summer.

My P265/75/R16 rub on the drag link when making a hard right turn. But I love the Winterforce tires.

OK, Here's what I scored for $200 at the local "You-Pull-It" Salvage Yard.
5 Ford 16" X 7" 8-Lug Wheels off of a 1993 E250 van.
They all have matching (Except for the spare.) 245 75R 16 Mud & Snow Tires with very little miles on them.
Not the size tire I wanted but for $200 they will do for plowing my driveway.
They are rust free, so I sanded, primed and painted them to match my truck.

QUESTION: Can I use my current lug nuts for these or do I need a different type??

You should be able to use your old lug nuts. Looks like you did good for $200.

Yes I was very lucky to get off so cheaply!
I finished installing the plow tonight.
I'll post pictures this weekend (hopefully)!
Now I need some snow so I can learn how to plow it!

If anyone is interested……..

I finally decided on a tire for my M884.
I went with Goodyear Duratrac 315 / 75 /16 and put them on the steel wheels I got on my junk yard trip.
They only rub very very very slightly on the steering arm if I'm turning full crank to the right and only if the drivers front wheel is on a higher plane.
They rub NOTHING like the 36" Humvee tires that were on it did.
The Humvee tires rubbed on almost all right turns.
I can not tell you what a difference they have made driving on the road…….INCREDIBLE!!

WOW, That's a lot of tire . I would of never guessed that they barley rubbed. Looks like you did well.

What is that plate for behind the front lisc. plate ?

I was surprised too.
I figured they would rub like the Humvee tires but they do not.
The plate behind the front license plate is a vintage fold down step.
I found it on the front of the plow parts truck I bought and I thought it was cool.
As it turns out it's very useful for reaching into the engine bay.

I drive both the military m880's and civilian 70's dodges and I will only use 235-85r16 load range E tires. I keep some of the original 16.5 rims and tires for originality, but for mileage, ride, toughness, grip and front hub and bearing stress nothing beats the 235-85r16's....
