Hello from the "Wiregrass area of Alabama."

I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm originally from south Louisiana. Currently serving in the Alabama Army National Guard as a UH-60 Pilot. I'm new to the MV world, just purchasing a 1985 M1009 CUCV Blazer, a 2008 M1101 Cargo Trailer, and a MEP-004A. The CUCV's were still in use when I first joined, albeit sparingly, so I have a particular affinity for them.

My M1009 is in good shape, needing only minor mechanical upgrades. The first issue I've had is dealing with the tailgate and the mechanical window crank. The glass is currently held up by 100mph tape. I have plans to replace the tailgate since it's rusting at the bottom and either buy a used mechanism or buy replacement parts to return it to working condition. The other issues are cosmetic, rusty hood (already have replacement), along with needing some paint. Overall, pleased with my purchase.

The M1101 is in pretty much new condition so it'll need very little work.

The MEP-004A is another story. It's an old piece of equipment and doesn't run. I plan to refurbish the generator and use it for emergency purposes here at my home.

I've seen that there's a ton of experience on this site, I'm certainly open to advice or information, and I'll thank you all in advance for any sent my way.
