New to list...quick question.

I'm doing a frame-off resto on a '54 USMC M37. My rear spring shackle bushings were way our of tolerance, so I ordered two new ones from Vintage. The new bushings were the correct I.D. and O.D., but were 1/4" too short. Anyone out here have any similar issues with these little buggers, and if so, how did you deal with them?
