New Truck

Hello everyone. My name is Kyle and I am brand new to the site. I am just looking for some information if anybody knows what type of truck this is.

I am picking it up next week. I got this truck basically for free. I know it runs and drives and has no mechanical issues.

This is the only pic I have right now until I can make the drive down to ft. Myers to pick it up.

Kyle, welcome from Atlanta. Looks like you have a basic M1008 there. I used to have one just like it, wish I still had it.

There should be a couple data plates screwed to the driver's door that will give you all the info. Have fun with it! Don't expect it to go very fast on the interstate.

Welcome to Steel Soldiers, that is a CUCV, most likely an m1008, maybe an m1028.

Thats what I thought looking around at others. I got this truck in trade for a brand new heat pump for a swimming pool. ( Perks of working for the leading global manufacturer of pool equipment and automation )

Lol that being said, this truck is going to be a toy for the mud hole down in Punta Gorda, Redneck Yacht Club

I was going to lift it and put some bigger tires on it. Been missing my mud toy since I got rid of my last 4x4 chevy.
