I saw a 5 ton dump with a towbar used in a hoist configuration. Has anyone ever tried this?

I saw a pic in Army Motors? once, they were using a set up like that to R&I a jeep engine.

you would think having two wreckers is enough, but when the second one is 20 miles away you just make due.

I haven't seen a towbar used that way, but people have talked about it.
