Any fellow MV owners in the North Dallas area? I recently bought a 1971 M35A2 (Love it!) however, I had the oportunity to help out our local chapter of The Sons of the American Legion and drive my deuce in the annual Christmas parade in The Colony TX. We were about two thirds through the route and I noticed my lights going dim, checked my Gen gauge and saw it was in the red. Could the be a generator gone bad or something else ie. rectifier or something? Thanks, love this site.

Sounds like a generator. If it is there are kits for replacing it with a modern alternator in the classified ads here.

You need to come up to Denton and join us. We do a lot of parades and other ceremonies and even a car show once in a while.

PS. We're a lot more active than the American Legion and we have associate members.
