Odd 12 bolt wheel and tire run flat styles?

Put "new" tires on a 2008 hmmwv with 4 12 bolt rims without locating holes. Found it fascinating that the rubber run flats were 2 piece (broken?) and one of the rims had the valve stem welded in. Is this something odd? Never saw any info on 2 piece rubber run flat inserts or a 12 bolt rim without the replaceable valve stems. Replaced the rubber run flats with PVC inserts, wheel and tire combo went from ~155lb to ~132 lb. Don't know if it was the tire or the run flat removal that saved the weight. Went from Goodyear Wrangler MT to BFG Baja AT. Certainly is a nice workout moving these tires around and mounting new ones.

That's a new one, to me at least.....
Much better than stock, IMHO...!

When I replaced all the tires on the funvee , I found there were 3 solid runflats a 1 that was a 2 pice , I assumed it was broken ( but didn’t have rough edges) , and since I didn’t mark where the tires where when I replaced them I guessed it was the tire that shook the truck. Since I pulled all the run flats it rides soooo much nicer. 😉
