In light of the events in Houston... those who have been putting off refilling their tanks, or who do not currently have adequate fuel stores as-is... you should start ASAP. Diesel stopped flowing out of TX yesterday, and will certainly impact supply going forward.

I am refilling one of my 55g drums tonight after work, in light of above. Just a friendly FYI.

I refueled everything I had last weekend in anticipation that there would be a pricing increase due to Hurricane Harvey's impact. It doesn't take much of anything for the fuel industry to find an excuse to jack up prices, pipeline and refinery shut downs will certainly result in immediate higher prices in anticipation of reduced supply.

Remember if refueling now, that you are putting in summer diesel blend. If you live in a colder climate be sure to treat it with a winter additive (Power Service Arctic Formula White Bottle or similar) plus any other fuel additives such as a biocide if storing long term.

Thx for the heads up. Just topped off my diesel and gasoline storage.
Heating oil tank just filled too.
