Oil Filter Canister Bolts - How tight?

Hmm..can't go wrong with that advise :)
The gaskets are very thin (at least the ones I have used), so don't twist the canisters when installing, just put pressure on them and tighten according to DR.

i torqued the bolts on my canisters to 60 ft/ lb i believe it says that in the manual somewhere but yeah dont twist the canisters

That advice was written just after arriving here from Houston (and I mean directly!) Amazing how 12 hours of sleep puts me back into the pace of life......................
