Hello, I was wondering if there is anything I need to be concerned about in relation to collecting WMO and other fluids and storing them in sealed blue 5-gallon drums outside in the sun? Would it degrade the oil or anything?

Degradation does not apply in your case, your going to burn it. Storing with a small vent would be ideal. And the benefit of the heat would be better settling and easier mixing filtering and pumping. Waste oils fine. The "other fluids should not be highly inflammable stuff however. (petrol etc.) Store them in a cool dry place well ventilated. My 1/2 penn'eth.

The bigger problem is the UV damage to the plastic drums. They'll probably be ok for a couple of years, but storing them in the sun will definitely shorten their lifespan.
